Welcome to OccasionBee! These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the OccasionBee platform, which includes our website, mobile applications, and all related services (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
OccasionBee operates as a marketplace and community platform that connects event hosts ("Hosts") with event vendors ("Vendors"). We also offer "over the shelf" event hosting solutions and tools.
You acknowledge that OccasionBee is not a party to any agreement or transaction between a Host and a Vendor. Our role is strictly limited to providing a platform for these parties to find each other, communicate, and conduct transactions. OccasionBee does not endorse, guarantee, or verify the quality, safety, or legality of any services offered or provided by Vendors, nor do we guarantee the conduct of Hosts.
To use the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your information up-to-date.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are also fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify OccasionBee immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
Vendors are responsible for their profiles and all content, including service descriptions, pricing, and images (collectively, "Vendor Content"). You represent and warrant that all Vendor Content is accurate, truthful, and does not violate any third-party rights.
Vendors are solely responsible for the delivery and quality of the services they offer. All disputes between a Vendor and a Host must be resolved directly between them. OccasionBee is not obligated to mediate or participate in any such disputes.
Hosts are responsible for making timely payments for any services booked through the Platform. You must adhere to the payment terms and cancellation policies set forth by the respective Vendor.
Hosts agree to treat Vendors and other users of the Platform with respect and professionalism.
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including software, design, text, and graphics, are the exclusive property of OccasionBee.
You retain all ownership rights to any content you submit to the Platform ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant OccasionBee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OccasionBee and its affiliates, officers, and employees will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with your use of the Platform, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, or data.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OccasionBee and its affiliates, officers, and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Platform or your violation of these Terms.
OccasionBee reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, without notice. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to, a violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to other users or the Platform.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Australia.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and OccasionBee regarding your use of the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
